NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING/PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Knox County Board of Equalization will hold a special meeting/public hearing beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 to review 2026 valuation protests postmarked no later than June 30, 2026, and received after June 30, 2026, if any, to hear testimony from these protestors, to view protested properties if needed, AND, to make final decisions on 2026 filed Forms 422/422A Property Valuation Protests pursuant to Sections 77-1502 to 77-1507 pertaining to the assessed value of their property. If any protested properties are viewed by the Knox County Board of Equalization on July 15, 2026, an itinerary will be available at the Knox County Clerk’s Office. Also, final decisions will be made on filed 2026 Forms 425 Report of Damaged Real Property.
Filed Forms 422A and Forms 425 are on file in the Knox County Clerk’s Office.
